I saw Pelham 123 today. That was the best movie I've seen in a LONG time.

It just came out a couple weeks ago. It's Denzel Washington and John (Jon? I can't remember which.) Travolta. Travolta plays a guy who hijacks a subway train, and Washington plays the subway computer manager who tries to talk him out of killing people. --- OK, this is going to sound really lame, but I am an "avid" fanfiction writer. If you mock me, I am sending demons to your home to kill your family and leave you all but alive. Anway, I updated a story yesterday, and the story got 98 hits! I felt proud of myself.

FANFICTION!? - Awsome! What do you write, I love anything that adds to an established story.

Azumanga Daioh and Sonic the Hedgehog (the story that caused the crazy amount of hits was in that category) mostly. I've also got one each in Recess and Harry Potter. I've got one in Solitaire, too, but that's not really "fanfiction," I guess. I've got one in Futurama that's pretty popular, too. Do you write any?
Wait. Were you being sarcastic?

No ofcourse not! I love fanfiction (I have a book shelf full of it (but most of it is William Shatner refusing to give up...)). How long have you been writing?
I kinda' knew that you were a Futurama fan too...

Yeah, I guess I kind of figured with all the anime girls you couldn't dislike fanfiction! Otakus and fanfiction seem to go hand in hand... I guess I started in seventh grade with a really bad Sonic story that has since been deleted from everything I could find it in. I used to have a lot more stories than I do now on fanfiction.net, but I recently discovered an Azumanga Daioh fan forum that had an entire thread dedicated to insulting me and my stories, so I took a bunch down and have started rewriting one. I read their posts after I deleted the bad stories, and they seemed sorry enough. Is that book shelf full of fanfiction your writings or someone else's?

Animé Girls!? Where!?
Some one else's, mostly D.C. Fontana. I know it's not technically Fan, but D.C. worked on Star Trek, and it's not considerd "cannon". I am trying to write a Star Trek novel or other.
Do you draw? - I assumed with your name, you meant vissual, not literary.

Um ... I draw a little. Not as much as I write. I actually created "LonelyArtist" for my pen name on fanfiction.net, but I use it for a lot of other stuff. I don't ever use it for visual art websites, because it's always already taken... There's a couple...I like both traditional and digital mediums. Do you draw?

Ish, I mostly do tracework for vectorgraphic (line based drawings) for flash apps, like my current avatar: Have you got photoshop?

So you drew that anime girl? Cool.
No, I don't have Photoshop, but I wish I did! The computers at school have a basic photoshop tool (Photoshop Elements 3), so I sometimes can stay after in one of the labs to touch up stuff or just fool around. All I have at home is Microsoft Paint, but it treats me pretty well for how simple it is.

I actually prefer Elements to the full Photoshop! But no, I traced it from an official Circus (publisher) image and adapted it for a current project.
Have a Google for GIMP or Paint.net both are better than MSPaint, and best of all FREE!

I don't know what I want to do with my life! Well, what I REALLY want to do is teach English in Japan. But...
Well, first it's really hard to get any sort of teaching job in Japan, as the competition is huge both from foreigners and natives alike. And most of the jobs open for non-citizens aren't "real" teaching jobs, they're just aides or private tutors or something like that.
Getting a citizenship is tough, too. You have to live there for five consecutive years, first, and then take the test, which is supposed to be really hard to do. Plus, you have to revoke your current citizenship as well, and I don't think I'm ready to do that. It might be possible to get the Japanese citizenship, then re-obtain American citizenship, though. My mom knew a guy who had dual citizenship of American and French, so I know it's possilbe in some circumstances. But I don't know if it's ok with JAPANESE citizenship.
I'm still young, so I don't need to really freak out YET, but I've only got one year left of high school, and then I have to decide what sort of classes I need and...erg.
Although I've recently been entertaining the idea of becoming a diplomat. The test is supposed to be REALLY hard, but you can re-take it, and the whole process otherwise sounds easier than the whole teacher-in-Japan thing.
Grg.

Dual-citizenship is something that you have to be born with. Meaning you have a parent with an American citizenship and a parent with a citizenship to whatever other country it's supposed to be to.

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! I'm doing that! Google "TEFL" and NO, there's a huge demand for teachers in Japan!
