Give your opinions, what reaction did you get out of this?

I found it very amusing. Was that serious, or a creation of someone who has a good sense of satire?

I was the one who made it I wanted to see what peoples reactions to it where. Really though the more and more I thought about it its true, each and every darn Denomination bickers and argues with one another, Catholics say baptist are doing it wrong. Agelicans say Baptist and catholics are doing it wrong, it never -ever- ends it just keeps looping and looping and making more trouble, even churches cliaming to be just regular Chrisitan churches bicker and argue. Take Ireland for example, two christian Denominations (Catholics and Protestants) were fighting and even -killing- (or attempting to kill one another) over the right way to worship god (made even worse by added conflict due to social class) Whats the point if all of them get into these conflicts over faith and contradict the very simple messages that were laid out in the bible?

I'm glad it was a joke. Those kind of things make me mad when they're serious.
I don't believe in having to go to church. I believe you can have your own spiritual path with God and still be a christian.

Sounds like my mom, she still has the bible she got when she first went into the army, she does not go to a church because all the bickering from the denominations make her uncomfortable. So she just consideres her self an average christian, she still prays from time to time as well.

And that's all that you really need to be a Christian.

I think so too, no giant skyscraper churches, no jewel encrusted robes, no money drives to fund the next titanic sized chapel. just faith, i'm sure thats all he/she/it asked to start with I wonder do you think god gets sad when people bicker?

I think that he does feel a sort of sadness when people bicker and fight. The reason he created Adam and Eve was so that there would be someone to worship him (kind of conceited, but hey, he made it all, he deserves it), not to make some...huge deal over the people who don't worship as one person does.

Of course he get sad when people fight! God never wanted anyone to fight over how to worship him, or trivial details of the bible. Blu, you're completely right.

*sigh* You've obviously never been to my church. It's a Lutheran church, the non-creepy kind. I can't remember what the name is, but it's the kind that lets women be pastors, etc. We are taught from a young age that Baptism makes you a "certified" child of God, but not being baptised or not being born in to a Christian community does not make you any less worthy. Baptism is just a way for the PARENTS to say they believe in God, and it is not the only way, nor a sure-fire way to get in to Heaven. We've never bickered. Our town has a population of little over two thousand and it has a Catholic church, a Methodist church, a Presbyterian church, two Lutheran churches, an Episcopalian church...and I think I'm missing one but I can't think of it. Four of those are on our street alone. With all the different churches, our church just sits to the side and lets THEM bicker. I rarely go to church (we don't bicker, but Pastor Eric can act a little cult-ish some times!), but I'm never looked down upon when I do go. My "friend" Pachan came to my Sunday School class once and basically denounced Christianity, but my teacher just said, "Really. Good for you," and we moved on. WE'RE smart about it. We're not all sure if every one else is going to Heaven, but we know that they probably have as much chance as us and pushing it isn't going to help anything. Besides, more room for us, right? Lol, jk. I'm sorry I'm ranting. This is just important to me. ((shrugs))

That's kind of funny, how people fight over how to worship God. Really ironic when you think about it.
I don't go to church very much anymore because of all the things you stated about your other churches, Lonely.

@lonely Artist: I'm Christian, or at least I consider myself to be. Your church sounds a lot like the stuff I strongly believe in- unfortunately, there are no churches like that around here. I go to a Roman Catholic church with my parents and find their beliefs very frustrating, but until I move out I have to go with them every Sunday.... =/

I found the most interesting church the other day, even though I didn't actually go in it.
They claimed to be non-denominational. I'd like to go to see if that is actually true, but I actually don't know where exactly it is at.

I found it funny, these things I dont take seriously, even when they are serious because the people who make them only want attention, even if it is bad.....so I just ignore and dont let it bother me.
