CHARACTER'S HISTORY``
Elyse was one year old whenever she showed her first signs of magic. A man, who was one day to become a death eater, was on a mission to destroy all people with muggle blood in their bloodline. A very ironic mission for the man was a half blood himself, but he learned of Elyse and her father, and set out to kill them.
Once the man made a visit it to her home, which was currently in the process of being hidden by the Fidelius Charm so that neighboring muggles would not be able to notice anything that went on inside the house, forcing his way in by blasting down the door with a simple curse. It was only Elyse and her father in the house at the time, as her mother was away in the state of Virginia in the United States of America attending her Aunt Cassandra's funeral. The man attempting at killing Elyse's father first, but failed because her father was much stronger than he was.
This did not stop the man, however. In the backyard, the man had a friend waiting in the backyard in case he was needed. By shooting red sparks out the back door, he alerted the man of his situation. The new man came in and successfully disarmed Elyse's father, letting the other man complete part of his mission and kill my father using the killing curse.
Both men advanced on the sleeping baby, thinking that she would be a very easy kill. The baby, however, felt their presence through uncontrolled magic and began crying. Her unnaturally large amount of uncontrolled magic set itself off on both of the men by gathering magic up from the earth and attacking them. Something she learned later on in life was a form of the lost magical art of Druid Magic (Elyse had thought this made her different, but she was a little let down that her magic just called upon the Druid Magic).. Everything in the house began attacking the men all at once. The original man made it out of the house, but at the cost of sacrificing his friend to the house. His friend died within minutes of the attack.
For three days, Elyse cried from terror, hunger, and thirst. Continuing to make the house go wild. Nobody could get within ten feet of the house without having something come out and begin attacking them. When her mother came home, Elyse felt it and calmed down, her uncontrolled magic dying down and making the house safe once more.
Elyse spent two years after that at St. Mungo's. The uncontrolled magic had caused a lot of damage to her, and there was a very high possibility that she wouldn't live past five years old because the damage was supposedly permanent. Something happened, though. Her uncontrolled magic was very different than what most people's were, and it called upon the magic stored under the Earth's surface to heal her at the age of three.
Elyse spent the next three years unlike a normal child. By age four, she'd taught herself how to read and used it as a source of entertainment. She was also learning to control her magic, although only slightly. She couldn't perform actual spells, but she found that she was able to make a tree's branch bend do and let her climb it or something of the sort. The only thing that she did that other little girls did as well was playing with dolls.
When she turned seven, Elyse found herself in the presence of the same man who attempted to kill her six years before, although at the time, she was unaware that this was the man. Just as the man was unaware that she was that girl. They did not take a liking to each other at all. Elyse was only seven years old, and she was already much less ignorant that this man was. She walked away from him thoroughly irritated that an adult could be so stupid.
At around nine, the man found her house again and was dismayed to know that he'd met up with the girl only two years before and didn't take his chance in killing her. Elyse was up in her mother's room playing dolls while her mother getting ready for a meeting when they heard the bang of the door. Elyse's mother ran out of the room, magically locking the door behind her so that Elyse would be protected, but the man found his way around Elyse's mother and into her room.
The man was too ignorant to think of looking under the bed for Elyse, which is where she was, trying to get one of her barbie dolls that had flown under there. The man didn't even bother looking for where all the banging under the bed was coming from, but whenever Elyse heard the man sit on the bed, and she froze. Trying to focus her magic as well as a nine year old child could.
After about two minutes, her mother rushed back in, dropping her wand under the bed along the way. The man saw this as a perfect opportunity, considering her mother was wandless, but not for killing her. No, this man had much different plans for her mother, and he pushed them as hard as he could. For the first time since she was seven, Elyse cried. She took her mother's wand, wondering why the man hadn't bothered to try and summon it, and brought it out on the man holding her mother down on the bed.
The man tried to take the wand from Elyse, knowing full well that Elyse didn't know any spells, but Elyse succeeded in getting the wand back into her mother's possession. Her mother then took this chance and stunned the man. The man, however, was able to escape, swearing that he would get Elyse one day.
The day she turned eleven she received her letter to Hogwarts, it was odd how early she received it, but accepted it gladly. The anxiety of attending school rapidly increased when she received the letter and didn't suffice itself until she was sorted into her house.
WHILE IN HOGWARTS, I...
Elyse was one of the top students in her class. Before the school year had even started she had memorized all of her text books. Something few students ever did.
In her first year, Elyse mother informed her that they had found a will in her father's family Gringott's bank account. In it, he left Elyse 10000 galleons and a solid silver tiara. The day she received it, she wore it around school, to honor her father. After that day, however, she only saved it for special occasions.
By her fourth year, Elyse was already practicing magic that O.W.L. Students were struggling with. The school's curriculum was not going quickly enough for her, so she ventured into the library often so as to move at a pace that satisfied her needs.
In her O.W.L. year, she had very little that needed to be studied and homework hours were seriously cut compared to everyone else's. Most of what was presented to her in that year was not new to her in any way, so she sped through all of her homework. By the time she took the exams, she had finished before everyone else.
Her O.W.L. scores follow as such:
DADA: O
Charms: O
Transfiguration: O
Herbology: O
History of Magic: O
Potions: O
Arithmancy: O
Ancient Runes: O
COMC: O
Muggle Studies: O
She hadn't actually taken the Muggle Studies class, but requested to take the exam anyway, seeing as she knew all about muggles. It took a lot of persuasion, but in the end, she was allowed to take the exam and was offered to take the N.E.W.T. exam for it as well, which she accepted at the end of her seventh year.
In her sixth year, they made their first Hogsmeade visit of the year. Being as curious as she was, Elyse wandered off and into the shrieking shack. To her dismay, however, there was already somebody in there, and not somebody she was fond of seeing. The man who she had only met thrice in her life was brewing some sort of potion, a potion that she never learned the name of.
The man attacked her as soon as he noticed her, but fortunately, Elyse held more power than the man had. It became of her knowledge not long ago that the man was unnaturally weak for a wizard. But the man had grown in strength ever since their last meeting seven years before, and it was a pretty even match. The man was a death eater now, and had learned much from the Dark Lord.
The man had tactically won this battle, but Elyse was able to force the man to disaparate whenever she tipped over his potion. The house itself began screaming, or so one would have thought. The man started thrashing about until he had slipped in the potion, burning his face. Disapparting away shortly afterwards.
Seventh year was much harder than any other year, although it was not as difficult for her as it was for many of her classmates. In the end, she was just as successful as she was in her O.W.L.'s with only a little bit more time spent on studying.
Her N.E.W.T. scores are as follow:
DADA: O
Charms: O
Transfiguration: O
Herbology: O
History of Magic: O
Potions: O
Arithmancy: O
Ancient Runes: O

&& HERES MY LIFE'S RECAP ...
After Hogwarts, Elyse began her training as a healer. Another task in which she excelled in. In Hogwarts, she'd begun teaching herself all of the appropriate white magic that was used in healing and then even expanded upon that. Where she couldn't find a spell, she let her imagination invent the spell for her, and she wrote it down.
When Elyse was twenty-three, she wrote the book that was to be used for training healers for years. At 981 pages, A Behind the Magic Healer's Guide became an instant best-seller in the healer's community. It consisted of hundred of potions, spells, and artifacts that could be used to aid the healer in healing their subjects. The book even consisted of cures for many things considered uncurable before.
One day, while she was twenty-six, Elyse decided to live in the Forbidden Forest. It was something she hadn't thought about, but just decided that it would be a good opportunity to learn more about the earth. It was. She learned how to use the Earth's magic to aid her in her life. How to bend nature to her will, even without a wand. Through this entire experience, she always had her father's tiara on.
When Elyse turned thirty, she found somebody else living in the forest. To her dismay, it was the very same man who had attempted at killing her three times before. The man, however, was very different. He seemed much less...proud, arrogant, and ignorant. The man spoke as if he and Elyse had never crossed paths.
At this, Elyse and the man became very good friends, but it only last for a year, for the man was killed by an Ashwinder whenever they had set up camp at one night. Ever since that moment, she had feared Ashwinder's, the creature who had killed a man she had begun to fall in love with.
When he died, she began contemplating about her life in the forest, and just how lonely she was. Whenever she couldn't bear it anymore, she left the forest and paid for a room at an inn that she would temporarily stay in until she could find a house and a job.
CHARACTER'S PERSONALITY``
Positive:
* Knowledgeable
* Kind
* Gentle
* Helpful
* Open-minded
* Brave
Elyse is a brave woman, but not a stupid woman. Through all of the knowledge that she gains, she has learned that going into a fight intentionally is stupid, and only fights if a good reason calls for it.
She is a very kind and gentle woman who always wishes to help anybody who is in need of being helped. Even the man who had killed her father, she helped. This also radiates her open mind because she has learned many different ways of helping people and has opened herself up freely to the many ideas that people have held. It is part of the reason why her book is so long, because she gives several ways of doing many of the spells and potions.
Negative:
* Difficult to fall in love
* Rebellious
* Impractical
* Erratic about things
Elyse is very skeptical about falling in love. The only time that she fell in love was the only time she could recollect the memory of seeing someone close to her die. She was skeptical before, but now she is extra skeptical about it.
She's also a very rebellious woman. Not that she breaks rules constantly, but because she likes to go about doing many things as impractically and erratic as possible so that she can make it her own course of doing it.
CHARACTER'S APPEARANCE``
[image]
Elyse has a very soft face that looks as if it's glowing. Her light blue eyes seem to compliment her face a great deal. People often ask her what make-up she puts on, but she always replies that she has no make-up on and that it is simple natural.
The curly hair that flows far down her back is of a dirty-blond color, although it originated as a deep, platinum blond. As the years moved, it became a dirty-blond, which she agreed looked much better on her. Ocassionally, she uses magic to straighten her hair, although that is not very often.
Her body of body is five feet and eight inches tall. She is taller than a large number of women. Never has she towered over them, but she has been taller. The body that she has has never been overweight or emaciated, she has always had a nice slim shape with her body.
The normal clothes that she wears are white robes and her tiara. Although, now that she is returning to the wizard's world, she is going to stop wearing that quite as much.
One thing that people have often noticed about her and found odd was the point on her ears. In reading books, Elyse had always read about the fictional elves of Middle Earth or Algaesia having these features. For years, she was ashamed about it and did all that she could to hide them, but ever since she began living in the forest, she has grown fond of them.
Her flaws are what she finds as her greatest treasures.
CHARACTER'S FAMILY``
Mother: Angelina Davis (Muggle-born Witch)
Father: Alexander Davis (Pure-blood Wizard) Deceased

Favorite part of the site? It's so nice and big!
Overall, why did you join? I thought it would be fun.
Have you read the rules? But of course, hun!
Notes:
Druid Magic is a very old form of magic that was dropped because of the discovery of wands. In the world that we live in outside of RPing, it has been used. It is why I thought it would be okay to use, because the Harry Potter world tends to take much of it's magic from old and new forms of magic both in stories and in the real world (even if you don't believe in real magic, other people really did).
