I wish I knew. I have been a closet gay for a while, but finely got the courage to come out. I wish I could tell my best friends, but I am just to scared :\. Anyone know how I can approach this topic

Please ignore what the thread creator wrote. It was just a waste of time and he clearly did not know what he was talking about. As for you, yuri, coming out to friends can be great because you feel very relieved, but you need to know your friends very well, and know that they would not "betray" you. It's not easy, but it's not impossible. What I did was to somehow get to know what would their reactions be towards a gay person, without letting them realise that I was the one "asking the questions on their reactions". Say people talk about gays, then you could twist the conversation to make them say what do they think about gays, without actually asking "what do you think about gays ?" - otherwise it might be suspicious to them. Don't worry too much too
