I've been shopping AGAIN and it's hit the fan. The last time I did this, my bank balance took a real dive. But was it worth it?

OMG it's so cute! The only question is how much exactly was it? And does it fit? I like it but...if it was really really expensive, you might have been better off making it or something (it honestly doesn't look that hard to do!).
Whose is it? Like, is it a specific character's or just a generic schoolgirl uniform?

Iori Yoshizuki from I''s, Never watched it, just liked the outfit. It's not arrived yet, I have them taylord at arround $70. Its's aprx a US size 8, so I assume it will fit without having to pour myself in. I can't sew to save my life, and I don't have anything to do it with. It's the whole Japanese Cosplay thing/fase, you should see my wardrobe. Next Purchase: It's Asakura Otome's <-

OMG, I's! I've never seen the anime, but I've read the first three mangas! I'd love to read more, but our local bookstores don't carry any others... (I'm much more into manga than anime, but now that I know the anime exists, I may have to check it out...) I can't remember if Iori was the one I did or didn't like...it's been a while since I've read 'em, and their names all start with "I" (hence the name of the series) so it's hard to keep track of.
$70, huh? That's about the amount I'd pay, depending, of course, on the quality of the materials and stitching.

The quality is really good, and the tailoring is perfect. To be honest, I've never watched or read I"s, I just like the outfit Iori wears (who wouldn't?). Da Capo is my favorite animé at the moment. I believe that it's free to download too, I check that bit out later; but I know that the Fan Sub is free.

Well, it arrived this morning and either it's too small or I've gone up a dress size in 2 weeks! Not best pleased...
Does any body know how to increase the size of an outfit?
Edit
OK, I've had a revelation, there's a reason it doesn't fit; testosterone, probably, the McDonald's doesn't help either. In recent months my testosterone levels have increased for some reason, and my hourglass like figure has diminished.
I've now told a close friend about all of the crap going on, and she was so supportive to the point of it really hitting a nerve - It made me realize that I do have good friends. So, whilst trying to sleep (the 2 liters of coffee per day won't help that); I decided to look on the Interweb for various nick-nacks to aid my shape. I only found one thing (which I knew I would), œstrogen. I know the dangers of messing with hormones, but being so messed up, you learn a thing or two about comparative pharmacology, so I think I'll be able to manage.
I'm not going to go thru any transition, just a little touch up here and there.

Ha ha... ..I'm so awesome, it fits now; perfectly. It's amazing what you can do with a craft knife. I removed four pleats and no stitching. I would not recommend altering garments with sharp objects it's much safer to get a seamstress to do the job!
But, anyway, I've put the HRT on hold for a while, surgery might be better for me, plus PMU doesn't look that appetizing...
PMU is Pregnant Mare Urine! - It's given to HRT Patients as it's full of oestrogen.

Testosterone's a bitch. Don't be whiny about it being small though. A size 8 (women's I assume)? I'm jealous. I'm an 11 usually, on good days I'm a 9 or 10. So...

It is, but I found that removing pleats makes for a good short term fix...
Plus "tight lacing" corsets work, the results are very instantaneous, but in the long term, permanent.
