Andrew is the epitome of what a Star Associate should be. His positive approach with people and his desire to excel in his position make Andrew stand out among a crowd of excellent associates.
Andrew actively participates in the F2S [Fun to Serve] committee, taking the lead on Sub-4-Santa and Box Tops for Education. He is also the "go to" person with our local elementary school, Lincoln Elementary. Regardless of the task at hand, Andrew will follow through and do what it takes to demonstrate a Spirit To Serve our community. His willingness to assist speaks highly of his dedication to making a difference.
Andrew looks for opportunities to recognize his coworkers for showing enthusiasm, commitment, service, and friendship. He created and implemented the Training Department's Warm Fuzzy award, and, by a large majority of votes, was the recipient of the award for last period. People responded warmly to his desire to make our department a better place to be.
Andrew also looks for ways to make his position as QA [Quality Assurance] for the ICS [Internet Correspondence Support] department challenging and rewarding. He was instrumental in the development of the current monitoring process, and regularly assists the team with creating drafts.
He actively participates in cross training, eLearning, and Supervisor SPIRIT. If there's any learning opportunities to be had, Andrew is on the sign up list as soon as word gets out. Andrew's continual work towards improvement benefits our team and center.
His dedication to community, dedication to team, and dedication to his job are key examples of why Andrew is so deserving of this award. Congratulations, Andrew, for being named April's Star Associate!
